Chapter 04

Question Bank, assignments, and exams

Build reusable questions, distribute assessments, and grade submissions with class and subject context.

Available to: Organization owner, Organization admin, Teacher

Question Bank

The bank is an organization source of reusable questions, not an automatically published assessment.

  1. 1

Create an item or question set

Choose a question type, prompt, options and answer where relevant, then add subject, tags, and media. Question sets group items for reuse.

  2. 2

    Import or scan with review

Document import and Smart Analyze produce drafts. Check OCR, answers, images, and credit cost before saving; AI never publishes directly to students.

Assignments

An assignment needs a subject, class audience, dates, and clear submission rules.

  1. 1

    Build and distribute

Create an assignment, add manual, bank, imported, or AI questions, then select classes and publish/due times. Students cannot work on a draft.

  2. 2

    Review submissions

Open the grading sheet from Assignments or My work. Score answers, add feedback, and release according to the workflow so results reach Grades.

Exams

Exams have their own attempt window, class scope, proctoring, grading, and retake rules.

  1. 1

    Configure before publishing

Choose subject, classes, timing, duration, questions, randomization, and proctor when needed. Preview and verify total points first.

  2. 2

    Grade and manage retakes

Objective answers can be automatic; manual responses remain queued. Review attempts, remedial grants, and retake requests before releasing results.
