Chapter 05
Grades, continuous progress, feedback, and reports
Separate assessment outcomes, long-term progress, feedback, and formal report documents.
Available to: Organization owner, Organization admin, Teacher, Student, Parent
Grades
Grades summarizes released outcomes for a learning cycle and assessment period.
- 1
Choose the academic range
Select the learning cycle and assessment period to review. Entire learning cycle combines periods without creating a new period.
- 2
Read results by subject
Final results follow organization categories and weights. Waiting for identifies missing components; open an assessment for score and teacher feedback.
Continuous Progress Track
Progress records competencies and habits over time rather than only examination scores.
- 1
Prepare templates and tracks
Owners/admins define templates, indicators, and class tracks. A track must belong to a class before teachers can record the correct learners.
- 2
Record and review progress
Teachers add observation entries. Students see their own in My Progress; parents select a linked child and receive no editing rights.
Reports and feedback
Reports creates structured documents, while Feedback runs response cycles and constructive summaries.
- 1
Use versioned report templates
Define template sections before generating student reports. Versions preserve historical documents when future templates change.
- 2
Respect the result audience
Staff work within permission. Students see their own reports and parents only linked children. Anonymous feedback never reveals respondent identity to teachers.
